Journal #20

I want to say a huge thank you to those who came to my first-ever Energy Exchange event. I don’t know if it was just me, but the room was buzzing with energy by the end of the evening, which was so amazing to witness. It was lovely to see familiar faces and meet many new ones. It brought me so much joy just watching everyone engage with one another, despite not knowing one another. I intended to build a community, and this felt like the start of it, so I thank you :)

A special shoutout to my fantastic panel… @rachelcrethar @emma_vee @rachaelsardelich @anamonestudios @caitlinwithers_photo_ @katiekaarsphotography I couldn’t have done this event without you. @hake.house, thank you for allowing me to take over your beautiful space. @aplentyfood, as always, your food was next-level delicious. Every little delicacy was devoured. And @winona_wine, your wine is always top-notch and the perfect complement to a sunny Sunday afternoon.

To keep the momentum going, I will be hosting another Energy Exchange Event in early December with a very special guest. A hint… it will be a very restful and replenishing occasion focusing on our Open Centres to help ease us into the throes of the silly season. Watch out for more details.
