Defined vs Undefined Chakra Centres.

Your design is always affected by the energies of those with whom you engage in love, business or friendship. It is a system that is interconnected, like humanity itself. However, when a Chakra Centre in your Life Chart is coloured or ‘defined’, this reveals a function or tendency that is fixed and consistent within you. These aspects are set in stone, a permanent part of you that is never influenced by the outside world. A portion of you that you can always count on and is available to be harnessed 24/7. Definition occurs when two gates at both ends of a channel come together, creating consistent and reliable energy within us. Hanging gates are when you have single gate activation in a defined centre. These may seem disconnected, but they still contribute their theme to your overall definition. If the themes of your activated gates don’t resonate with you, then this might be Not-Self talk coming through. This conditioning means your mind may have too much control causing you to send mix messages out to the world. Defined centres are a porthole into what you are naturally good at, so lean into these traits. See these as your strengths that come easily to you.

The white centres (also known as your ‘undefined’ or ‘open’ centres) are the places where you are most vulnerable to influence from the outside world. They are also your most valuable learning centres and where lies your most significant source of education and wisdom. Your openness gives you the ability to mirror or amplify the traits of others. These qualities are intermittent, coming and going depending on who you surround yourself. These are not traits you should identify as your own, instead are impassive wisdom others can share with you through their defined centres. This wisdom allows you to be an uninvolved observer, which will, in turn, provide you with an opportunity to exchange your reflections, comprehension and insight with others. The more openness you have in your chart, the more empathetic and flexible you are.

An undefined centre has one or more active gates. They can be black (conscious) or red (unconscious). Active gates are alone; waiting to be sparked by another person with the opposite gate to complete your whole channel. This pairing is called an electromagnetic connection. The active gate filters or directs the incoming energy toward the undefined centre, making you more aware of its presence within you.

If your undefined centre has no gate activation, you still share many characteristics with this centre, but it does operate differently. Without activated gates, you don’t have a familiar theme or feeling to hold onto, which will then connect you to yourself. The gates are here to filters the incoming energy, so much openness can leave you feeling confused and vulnerable to the information coming at you. You don’t know quite what to do with it. Just remember that being completely open will, in fact, impart so much more wisdom, if you lean into its full potential. See your openness as a unique gift, rather than a hindrance.
